A promotion bash is on the cards for this Saturday evening as Sileby celebrate promotion.

Sunday September 5th sees the return of the Sileby 6 a side competition.

A late afternoon downpour and a century from Chad Yates put pay to any thoughts that Sileby's First XI had of a double over Stoughton & Thurnby as the game ended in an abandonment.

A boundary laden century from Rob Moore and a classy 78 from skipper Jim Melody saw Sileby post a formidable first inning score as they came away from their clash with Ratby Firsts with a big winning draw, which takes them to promotion from Everards Division Three at the first time of asking.
