Former Club Captain Ben Cavey has returned to the captaincy fold at Sileby Town having been voted in as Second XI Captain. The Australian all rounder, who first came to England over twelve years ago with compatriot Brett Onslow, held the post of First XI captain during 2006 and 2007 seasons will now lead the Second XI during the 2012 campaign after completing his first season in a number of years during 2011.Cavey will take over the reins from Nigel Kinch, who led the side to a comfortable finish in their maiden season in Division Two. It's a case of keeping the status quo with the other captaincy positions as Liam Kinch retains the job of Club Captain, Mark Barber looking for a third successive promotion with the Third XI, Richard Preston keeps the role of Sunday XI Captain and Gill Loveridge has retained the post of Ladies Captain. |
