Nationality: South African Senior Sileby Town Debut: 2001 Nicknames: H Batting Style: Right Handed Bowling Style: Right Arm Medium Senior PB With The Bat: TBC Senior PB With The Ball: TBC Summary: At this point in time, Henri's exact impact at MIll Lane is not statistically known as the First XI scorebook from 2001 has gone awol. That may, or may not, have something to do with his disappointing stats for that season. Henri is generally remembered for his off field exploits more than his on field ones and his drinking sessions at the Free Trade, where every pint was followed by an Archers and lemonade, have gone down in Sileby folklore. At the point at which he arrived, Henri was 19 years old and 19 stone and if he connected with the ball, it stayed hit. It was just unfortunate that he didn't always connect and his performances for the First XI were somewhat disappointing. That wasn't helped by the fact that he was playing in a struggling side in the Premier Division which would, ultimately, be relegated by the end of the season. That said, many villagers still remember Henri with affection from his brief spell in the village. H returned to South Africa after one season at Mill Lane with his drinking record still intact.
