With the cricket season now over, it's time to focus on winter practices and in particular Sileby's courses for new beginners. For near on 20 years, Sileby Town has been offering quality coaching for children who want to learn the game of cricket and this tradition continues again this year with Head Coach Richard James running another beginners proficiency course. Each session lasts for one hour, from 6pm to 7pm on Sunday evenings, where anyone that is a new starter to cricket, regardless of age or gender, can come along and learn the basic skills that they need. The courses take place at Ratcliffe College and begin on Sunday 26 October 2008 and run though until Christmas. During the last two weeks of the course there will be an assessment based on the skills that they have learned before progressing on to the practice sessions for Kwik Cricket after the Christmas break. Anyone that is interested, or has any questions, can contact Richard directly on 07713 132650. Players are requested to bring a change of trainers for the sessions and no equipment is required as the Club will provide all of the equipment that is required. |
