Welcome to Sileby's Christmas Lights
Switch on at 6.30pm Dec 5th

Come along between 5.00 and 8pm. A well-known local figure will be switching the lights on at 6.30pm amid all the usual celebrations including Fun-Fair, Victorian Market, Street Entertainment, Handbell Ringers and background music. There'll be mincepies and a warm welcome to all in the Community Centre afterwards.

Sileby is a large village with a population of approximately 9000.

Sileby was an industrial village with boot and shoe industry and hosiery industry. Many of these former factory sites have now been developed for residential housing.

Sileby Parish Council Offices are situated next to Sileby Community Centre, 41 High Street. The Office is open to the public Monday to Friday 10.00am until 12.00pm.
